At a glance
- HostNodex VPS plans are rented services, not lifetime licenses or perpetual allocations.
- A VPS stays active only while the subscription is in good standing and the service is not cancelled or terminated.
- Root access gives control of the server but does not remove acceptable-use, security, or payment obligations.
- Courtesy backups or snapshots never replace your own backup strategy.
1. What the service is
HostNodex provides access to VPS plans that may include compute, storage, bandwidth, operating system templates, control-panel actions, and supporting account functions.
Available plan sizes, technical limits, locations, and features may change over time. The plan details displayed at order time control for the purchased service.
2. VPS lifetime semantics
A HostNodex VPS is a subscription-backed hosted resource. It is not sold as a perpetual product, lifetime entitlement, or irrevocable allocation of infrastructure.
Your VPS remains active only while the related subscription or billing arrangement is active, paid, and not suspended, cancelled, or terminated under the legal bundle.
If a VPS is cancelled, terminated for abuse, or removed after non-payment, HostNodex may disable access immediately and may permanently delete associated server data after the applicable retention or recovery window, if any.
3. Provisioning and administrative access
HostNodex may provision VPS instances through integrated upstream systems and may expose actions such as power control, rebuild, password reset, or reinstall through the dashboard.
You are responsible for everything you install, configure, or expose on your VPS once access credentials are issued to you.
- Root or administrative access does not waive the Acceptable Use Policy.
- You must secure SSH keys, passwords, applications, and network-facing services running on the VPS.
- HostNodex may intervene when necessary to contain abuse, compromise, or platform harm.
4. Resource envelopes and fair use
Plan resources are subject to the product description, platform limits, and acceptable-use safeguards designed to preserve service quality for all customers.
This includes bandwidth allowances, reasonable CPU fairness, and storage write or read behavior aligned with HostUp-style upstream infrastructure protections.
5. Backups and data retention
HostNodex or its upstream providers may create short-term snapshots or operational backups. Those measures are intended for resilience and short-term recovery, not for long-term archival storage.
You must keep independent backups of important content, databases, and configuration. HostNodex is not responsible for unrecoverable data caused by deletion, corruption, compromise, failed updates, or non-payment.
6. Support boundaries
HostNodex support covers the hosted service, account-level functionality, and reasonably related infrastructure issues. It does not include general application administration, custom software debugging, or open-ended systems consultancy unless separately agreed.
